Oversee the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring it runs efficiently and profitably.
Maintain store cleanliness and ensure that the store is well-organized, stocked, and visually appealing.
Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed and that the store complies with company and local regulations.
Team Leadership and Development
Hire, train, and manage store associates, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
Set individual and team sales targets and ensure associates are motivated to achieve them.
Develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
Resolve employee issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss store performance, goals, and updates.
Customer Service and Sales
Deliver an outstanding customer experience by ensuring associates provide excellent service and resolve customer concerns promptly.
Drive sales through effective product knowledge, customer engagement, and upselling techniques.
Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust strategies to meet sales goals.
Inventory and Stock Management
Oversee inventory control, ensuring the store is adequately stocked and products are properly displayed.
Conduct regular inventory counts and manage stock replenishment, returns, and restocking.
Minimize shrinkage by adhering to loss prevention practices and conducting regular audits.
Financial Management
Manage store budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure that the store is within budget.
Handle cash management, including register opening/closing, deposits, and reconciliation.
Ensure that promotions, pricing, and markdowns are implemented correctly.
Visual Merchandising
Ensure that the store displays are aligned with corporate visual merchandising standards.
Work with the visual merchandising team to create attractive product displays that drive sales.
Reporting and Administration
Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and employee files.
Provide feedback and suggestions to higher management regarding inventory, product demand, and customer trends.
Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks, including daily sales reports, payroll, and performance reviews.
